Ian Halliday and Scott Hussey have joined SIA Group as directors in the Bicester and London offices.

Ian, an aviation expert with seven years of experience at Lombard will head up SIA Group’s aircraft valuation, recovery and disposal business located in Bicester. SIA Aviation was set up to support insolvency practitoners dealing with the increased number of distressed and failed airlines, airfields, flying schools, charter and aviation support companies. Ian and his team which comprises of qualified valuers, insolvency agents, aviation lawyers, pilots and ground crew will focus on providing aviation valuation solutions, aviation assets recovery and aircraft auctions.

Scott who joins from HSBC Equipment Finance is an industrial and commercial asset valuation and disposal expert with fifteen years’ experience in the corporate recovery and asset based lending sector. He is fully qualified member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and currently sits on the Machinery and Business Assets global faculty board where he advises on valuations, leasing and ABL specialisms.
