An excellent opportunity exists to purchase the business and assets of Small Robot Company Limited (in Liquidation), which has developed a patent protected tech-driven per plant identification robot, to increase efficiency and sustainability in arable farming.

The Company’s autonomous robotic platform, Tom, allows for plant mapping at field scale and provides insight and analysis into crop health together with a treatment map output which optimises fertiliser application. Tom can detect weeds at cotyledon stage and can be trained to detect specific weeds with a treatment map output for any sprayer. Tom detected 41 million weeds in 2023. A number of farmers were on the Company’s growing waiting list.

It is intended that a sale will be executed at the earliest opportunity and all expressions of interest must be registered by no later than midday Friday 23 February 2024, with final offers to be submitted by midday on Tuesday 27 February 2024.
